As the year comes to a close, Sensor Tower provides an overview of the top five delivered meal kits and specialty foods applications on a unified platform in Europe for the fourth quarter of 2023. Here's a snapshot of their performance.
HelloFresh: Meal Kit Delivery saw a decrease in downloads from 76K at the start of the quarter to 34K in the final week, while weekly active users fluctuated, peaking at 815K before dropping to 621K and then rising again to 726K.
Vivino: Buy the Right Wine experienced a more positive trend with downloads spiking from 37K to 129K by the quarter's end. The app's weekly active users showed significant growth, starting at 444K and reaching 808K in the final week. Revenue for Vivino also increased, starting at around 11K USD and ending the quarter at 39K USD.
Gousto saw a decline in downloads from 8K to 4K by the end of Q4. The weekly active users also showed a downward trend, starting from 56K and decreasing to 43K.
CrowdFarming maintained a relatively stable, but overall declining download count, starting at 4K and ending slightly lower at around 1.9K. Unfortunately, the data on weekly active users for CrowdFarming was not available.
